2025 Tasmania Pinot Noir
Our first release from these two excellent vineyards at opposite ends of the island:
Mt. Ventoux Vineyard Reliba, 828 Clone grown by Brett and Anne de Hayr.
Glenelg Estate Gretna, MV6 Clone grown by Charles Downie and James Clements.
Fermented as a number of batches that were either fully destemmed or kept as whole bunches. The whole bunch component in final blend is about 50%.
Raised in a mixture of old and new (25%) 500L puncheons.
An exercise in balancing the delicacy of the 2025 vintage with the power and structure that we love about great Pinot.
