76 Clone Chardonnay from Tasmania’s highest and most inland vineyard at Ouse in the Upper Derwent Valley. Farmed by the enigmatic Bernard Brain.
Wild fermented and matured sur-lie in 500L puncheons. Pithy yellow stonefruits, some savoury spice and fine texture from regular lees stirring.
400 dozen produced. Bottled November 2024.
